Chunky Bobble Christmas Tree Skirt ~ Crochet Pattern

This year when it came time to put up our Christmas tree, I could not find my tree skirt anywhere that I had made several years ago. I have no idea where that thing ran off to, but I have searched everywhere and have yet to find it.

Luckily, I was already wanting to make a bigger version of my Mini Bobble Tree Skirt so now I have the perfect excuse.

To make it, I used 2 strands of worsted weight yarn and a 10mm crochet hook and followed my pattern for my Mini Bobble Tree Skirt. You can purchase the pattern on Etsy or Ravelry, or find the free pattern for my mini tree skirt here

Since my Mini only goes to 9 round, I continued on for a total of 17 rounds, before beginning the bobbles, to make it big enough to fit my 6.5' Tree. I ended up using 4 skeins of Hobby Lobby's I Love This Yarn in Turquoise (my favorite color).

My finished tree skirt measured 36" across before the bobbles and 40" after. I really love those bobbles!!

Since this skirt is made using 2 strands of yarn at the same time, it works up pretty quickly and I was able to get it finished in one day. If you are looking for a quick tree skirt, this just might be the perfect one.

Happy Crocheting,

~Maggie
