Welcome to Crochet Happens.  I am so excited that you are here!!

My name is Maggie Brennen and I am the crafty mamma behind this blog.  I am a wife, mother, homeschooler, crochet and knit lover, crafter, baker, decorator, antique hunter, and small business owner from Ohio.

I have three children...Evan {19}, Emma {18}, and Jack {10}...my baby.  I love this photo of them even though it is from 6 years ago because it sums up all their personalities perfectly.  These days it is nearly impossible to get a photo out of them. 

Back in 2011, I opened my Etsy shop as a creative outlet and way to fund my crafting.  My business features items that I crochet but I also love to knit and occasionally sew little things.  This little business helps keep me busy and gives me something that is all mine.
