Crochet Lip balm Holder - Free Crochet Pattern

 

I cannot believe that I am just now getting around to sharing the pattern! I have been working on some new color sets for spring and realized that I have not shared this pattern with you yet. This is by far my most personally used item that I have crocheted.

Materials

Worsted weight cotton yarn (I used I love This Cotton)

2.75mm crochet hook

1" D ring swivel hook (I use this one here)

Pattern

Rnd 1, SC 6 in magic loop (do not join) 

Rnd 2: SC 2 in each stitch around (12 sts) You can place a stitch marker or scrap peace of yarn to mark the beginning of the round unless you are like me and like to live life fearlessly. 

Rnd 3-12: SC around

Now we are going to make the loop for attatching to the swivel clip. 

Row 1-6: chain 1, turn, SC 4

Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. 

Thread the loop through the swivel hook, folding the loop to the back of your lip balm holder and securely sewing closed. I sew mine back and forth a couple times and then weave in the end, trimming the excess.
