It is finally feeling more like spring here in Ohio and it has me reminiscing about last years trip to the Outer Banks, sitting on the beach watching my husband and youngest son out in the water while I hung out under my trusty umbrella, listing to an audio book while knitting my first pair of socks. We also love walking the beaches admiring the ocean and looking for unique shells and sea glass.
So when I chose the colors of yarn for this sunglasses case, I could not help but be reminded of the beach and the colors of sea glass, hence the name. (Can you spot the piece that looks like a heart?)
This case is made using 2 strands of yarn held together, making it work up thicker and quicker than my other sunglass case patterns. I also decided to go with cotton yarn this time which also feels more beachy to me than my usual acrylic.
